Never miss a diecast deal

Q & A

Why one item per day?

To maximise our buying power and extract the best price from the supplier, therefore, guaranteeing the best price to you, we only order the number of items we think we can move in one day. Obviously, some items have greater demand than others, that's why we say "One Day" "One Thing" "One Chance". If you are not quick on the uptake, you just may miss out!

Why so cheap?

Because we only sell one item per day, we don't need a big warehouse with 1000's of product lines hoping to move one or two of each item per day at traditional margins.  We don't have to find one item out of 1,000s available to fulfil one order.

We buy right with our collective buying power and then move it quickly (1 per day).

Source Right + Buy Right + Move Fast + Small Margins = BARGAIN!

Where does "1300diecast" source its products?

We source our products from all over the world. We have long standing relationships with manufacturers in Australia, America, Germany and of course good old China.

If you are a supplier and feel there is a product you would like us to list then please just fill in the "Contact Us" form and let us know - we'd be only too happy to talk with you. Any members with product suggestions (same form) please drop us a line we'll see what we can do.

Are products in stock?

Yes all products are in stock on the day advertised and ready to be shipped.

Because we have limited numbers you need to be quick - we don't do "back orders" if the product is sold out. You just need to be super quick for that super bargain.

Let's look at shipping?

Our goods are shipped via Australia Post and it is always cheaper per item if you purchase more than one.  Else combine your orders with your mates for great savings on postage. You'll be able to find out about that after you add the product/s to your cart.

A customer enquired whether he could buy a 1/43 one day and a 1/18 the next day and combine the postage.  Unfortunately the website is set up for one diecast model per day.  It can calculate the postage if you purchase more than 1 by multiplying the weight x quantity purchased.  It is unable to calculate 2 completely different model sizes/weights.  We have just discovered that there is a way around this should these extraordinary circumstances arrive, just ring us on 1300diecast and we can discuss it further.  We do not make a profit on postage and it is in our interest to make this the best shopping experience we can for our collectors.

What time do you list your new product for sale?

We were originally going to "roll over" our products at midnight. But, let's be sensible about this - what person in their right mind wants to be waiting up till midnight, that's just ridiculous.

We list from Monday to Sunday at 12 noon. So be ready at high noon!!!

How do I join?

That's the easy part - just use the "Subscribe Me" on the left hand side of the website and start receiving our specials direct to your inbox.

Are there other ways to find out what's for sale earlier?

You can sign up for our daily email - it tells you what's on, shows you a picture and a brief description. Just go to the left hand side of our home page and click "Subscribe Me" and fill in the form and we'll send you our newsletter.

We'll then email you at noon as a reminder for the daily deal.

But until the day of sale you can't find out what's on sale - a bit like Christmas morning - it's a surprise, except the fat fellow doesn't turn up till midday.

Will you only provide "diecast" products?

Our intention is for this website to be "diecast" and "vehicle" related and we will only source products that fit the category of collectible items. However, if at any time you find us listing useless indoor things like saucepans, then just send us an email, titled "you have sold out on us"!

How do we know when you are getting low on stock?

You don't. We may have 5 items or 100. The simple answer is - if you like it, buy it to ensure you get what you want. We envisage some product to sell in the first half hour, and others to last almost 24 hours. It all depends on how much we can buy, and how many you the customers want.

Our product description is with pictures and reference to brand names and sometimes links to supplier websites and our specs are quite comprehensive, so you will know exactly what you are getting. So if you don't want it don't buy it, otherwise, if you do buy it and don't want it then you'll make a profit on an online auction site.

If your product is "broken" then just email us at help@1300diecast.com.au and we'll give you details on how to return your item to us and we'll try our best to replace it for you, if we can't we'll give you a full refund which will be processed back to your credit card. We'll do our utmost to look after you.
